When are TheArtiste auditions?
- Auditions will be held from March to May, 2025, in both Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
- Subsequently, auditions for TheArtiste will be held annually in December 2025 and will see Manila, Jakarta, Bangkok, Hanoi and Mumbai added to the list of locations.
What exciting programs awaits the winner?
- The winner will fly* to Los Angeles, United States, after winning the competition, to collaborate with award winning industry creatives.
- The judges’ selection of the winner will be final and indisputable
- * Subject to issuance of visa to enter the United States of America.
Optional Preparation Programs
- Participants may elect for customised sessions to help prepare for the auditions.
- The program entails award-winning coaches providing professional guidance to participants to improve their performances. Eventually, a video demo that showcases their talents will be produced.
- All participants will be recorded and their performances will be uploaded to Social Media platforms at the sole discretion of the producers of TheArtiste.
- The Optional Preparation Programs does not guarantee success at the audition.
What are the Prizes?
- A Global Recording and/or Publishing cum Management Contract.
- A 3-month stay in Los Angeles for the purpose of recording and producing a music single and video with award winning songwriters, producers and creatives.
- The subsequent release of the music video single from Los Angeles.
- Late Night TV show appearances.
- Promotional / Showcase Concert / Festival appearances.
- A Homecoming Concert in the winner’s country of origin.
- Concerts and performances.
What are the Audition Criteria?
- All participants MUST be able to sing and perform in ENGLISH.
- Auditions are open to participants 18 years and above at the time of the auditions.
- Participants below 18 years of age must obtain written consent from a parent or guardian.
As this involves a Recording and/or Publishing cum Management contract together with a Global Tour and TV Show opportunities, participants MUST NOT have any existing contractual obligations with any record label, management or talent agency.

- With the runaway success of films like Crazy Rich Asians and the global phenomenon known as the K-pop wave – the sheer insatiable appetite and demand for Asian content is evident.
- theArtiste will be the platform to discover and elevate Asian music talent for world class production and global entertainment, meeting the global fan based demand.
- It will help us gauge the participatory response to sufficiently prepare audition schedules.
- Adequate time will be available for all intending to participate to prepare themselves.
